A Dentist Who Loves to Serve the Lord

For the past several years, Dr. Shary has set up a portable dental clinic at the Elim Gospel Church in Lima, New York.  Each October the Elim Fellowship hosts a Mission to Missionaries (M2M) Conference.  During this week around 55 missionaries and their families come in from all over the world.  This is a time for them to be encouraged and strengthened.  They are in need of motivation, refreshment, quiet time and medical/dental care.  

Our patients consist of 3 groups:  missionaries and their children in for the conference, missionary kids (college age students who grew up on the mission field and are now attending Elim Bible College), and International Students from all over the world who are also at the College.

The dental need is great as some of our patients have never even seen a dentist and those that have, had their treatment overseas and, well let's just say we keep very busy fixing things up.

We have been to serve our brothers and sisters in the Lord who are serving Him tirelessly.  To date, we have donated over $71,000.00 worth of phase one dentistry.  This includes exams, cleanings, fillings, periodontal initial therapy, extractions and even a few Bite Splints! 

What a joy it is to serve Him!
